New Years Overture

This joyful overture demonstrates why so many wind bands are adding the name Pasternak to their
libraries.
With a melodic rhythmical opening theme, a lyrical contrasting middle section, leading to a grandiose heart wrenching climax, and closing out with the opening theme cleverly transformed into a triumphant
setting, this is an excellent opener to any concert.
